M3M Foundation Honoured by Gurugram Health Department for Strengthening Public Healthcare on National Doctors' Day

The Health Department, Gurugram, honoured M3M Foundation with an Appreciation Letter on National Doctors' Day for its outstanding contribution to strengthening public healthcare infrastructure, supporting tuberculosis patients, expanding preventive healthcare services, and improving access to quality medical care through its Kartavya Programme across communities.

Gurugram: Recognising its sustained contribution to strengthening public healthcare and improving access to quality medical services, the Health Department, Gurugram, honoured M3M Foundation with an Appreciation Letter on the occasion of National Doctors' Day during a special programme held at the Sub Health Centre in Kadarpur. The recognition highlighted the Foundation's continued efforts to support public healthcare infrastructure and community health initiatives in collaboration with government authorities.

The Appreciation Letter was presented during a programme organised by the Health Department in the presence of Gurugram Member of the Legislative Assembly Tejpal Tanwar, who attended as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Chief Medical Officer Lokveer Singh, Councillor Narayan Bhadana, doctors, healthcare professionals, frontline health workers, community members and representatives of M3M Foundation.

The Health Department acknowledged M3M Foundation for its continued support in strengthening public healthcare infrastructure and complementing government initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery at the grassroots level. As part of its recent interventions, the Foundation renovated the Sub Health Centre, creating a better-equipped and more patient-friendly healthcare facility. It also distributed nutritional dry ration kits to 90 tuberculosis patients to support their treatment and contribute to the national goal of eliminating tuberculosis.

To further strengthen healthcare services, M3M Foundation provided essential infrastructure and medical equipment to the health centre, including a freezer, washing machine, storage cabinet, water cooler, haemoglobin analyser, blood pressure monitoring machine, glucometer, height and weight measuring machine, and other diagnostic equipment. These additions are expected to improve healthcare delivery and enhance patient care.

The initiatives were implemented under the Foundation's flagship Kartavya Programme, which focuses on preventive healthcare, community well-being and occupational health. Through the programme, M3M Foundation has reached more than 200,000 individuals with healthcare interventions. During the 2025-26 period alone, it organised 102 health camps that benefited more than 14,280 people through medical consultations, health screenings, medicines and preventive healthcare awareness.

Addressing the gathering, Tejpal Tanwar said strong healthcare systems are built through collective responsibility. He stated that M3M Foundation's contribution towards strengthening health infrastructure and supporting community healthcare demonstrates the positive impact of partnerships between the government and responsible institutions. On National Doctors' Day, he also expressed appreciation for doctors and healthcare professionals for their dedicated service.

Chief Medical Officer Lokveer Singh praised the Foundation's continued partnership with the Health Department, stating that quality healthcare becomes more effective when institutions work together. He said M3M Foundation has consistently supported the department through infrastructure development, preventive healthcare initiatives and community outreach, adding that such collaborations strengthen healthcare services and expand their reach to more people.

The Appreciation Letter was received by Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee and President of M3M Foundation, on behalf of Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson and Trustee of the Foundation.

Commenting on the recognition, Dr. Payal Kanodia said the honour reflects the importance of meaningful partnerships in ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every community. She said the Kartavya Programme remains committed to strengthening primary healthcare, promoting preventive care and supporting the public health system. She added that healthier communities will form the foundation of a stronger and more resilient nation as India progresses towards the vision of a developed nation by 2047.

On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, M3M Foundation also paid tribute to doctors, nurses, frontline health workers and medical professionals whose dedication continues to strengthen India's healthcare system and improve the lives of countless people.

The recognition reinforces M3M Foundation's commitment to working alongside the Health Department to strengthen primary healthcare infrastructure, expand community health programmes and improve access to affordable, quality healthcare.
